COVID 19 Policies & Procedures

Welcome!

If you are experiencing any of the following: Fever, cough, shortness of breath, other cold or flu-like symptoms please visit us at a later date. We would love to see you then. All we ask is that everyone be informed, be smart and be safe. All staff have the proper Personal Protection Equipment, facemasks, aprons, gloves and shoe covers (when needed). We ask that there be no visitors but only guests registered at this time on the property while we enter different phases for the guideline set forth by the State.

GUEST ROOMS

All rooms, cottages and common areas are sanitized per CDC guidelines using EPA approved disinfectants. Please be patient if your room takes longer than normal for check-in. The frequency of room cleaning during a guest’s stay may be altered based on guest requirements.

Please read carefully.

In anticipation of individual concerns of guests, housekeeping shall not enter a guest room during a stay unless specifically requested, or approved, by the guest, or to comply with established safety protocols.

*All In-room linen and towels must be bagged before leaving any room. Let Us know if you need anything by calling the front desk. Fresh Towels and linen will be given in exchange during your stay. Please bag them and place them in the chair outside your room/cottage. Extra pillows are on need basis only. Housekeeping shall maintain the practice of cleaning rooms inside and out thoroughly following protocols for all check-outs.

Cleaning and disinfecting protocols will require that attention is paid to high- touch, hard nonporous items including but not limited to television remote controls, toilet seats, handles, door and furniture handles, water faucet handles, nightstands, telephones, in-room control panels, A/C filters, light switches, temperature control panels, alarm clocks, luggage racks, flooring and outside seating.

We cannot have dish-ware in the rooms as of right now so please bring your own if needed. There are many stores close by for plasticware as well. This is for sanitary reasons. We have wrapped coffee cups for every room and wrapped drinking cups. Please understand why as we continue to get guidelines from the state and CDC.

Please limit any social activity in any area at one time. For beaches, no more than 5 in a group on all beaches and must 10 feet apart. All other areas are the 6 feet apart and no more than 10 in a group unless in the same household.

Practice social distancing etiquette surrounding the pool area. No more than 10 inside the pool itself any given time. Be considerate and take turns while in the pool. Help each other. Follow the protocols on the signs posted throughout the property.

Use the many open areas throughout our entire property which includes 4 oceanfront patios, over 60 lounges, 2 gazebos, large grassy areas and over 900 ft of traffic-free beach. There is literally space for everyone.

We, at Coral Sands, still encourage everyone to say hello to your neighbors, be sociable, but be smart and stay 6 feet apart. Please help us by being observant of others as well and be kind as you remind them. We want to be able to keep the beaches and the Hotel, Cottages and RV Park open and for all to enjoy. We are all in this together, remember that.

Hand sanitizers are for use throughout the property which include but not limited to the pool area, gazebos, elevators, stairwells, public bathrooms, and laundry areas.

The most effective way of all is to wash your hands regularly. We sanitize communal areas frequently including ,but not limited to front desk check-in counters and lobby, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms and showers, vending machines, ice machines, room keys and locks, all handrails, pool lift, pool seating and all other seating areas. We are looking after your health and safety as well as our employees.

We hope you enjoy the ocean breeze, beach and sun. Dig your toes into the sand and relax.
