Dear Guests and all those who may be visiting their friends and loved ones of the premises:
Per the direction of our corporate office, the Coral Sands will be implementing a partial non-smoking property policy as of August 5th,2019-in order to provide a healthier environment for all guests. We have selected two smoking areas only. All other areas, rooms, cottages-including all common areas: pool deck/area, gazebos, grill/picnic areas, inside laundry room and all outside porches and wraparound balconies will become non-smoking for all guests and visitors. As for the RV Park, this will include the common areas, pergola and bathrooms as well but of course you can do what you wish inside your own vehicles. Please be considerate of your neighbors as usual and pick up after yourselves.
The harmful effects of secondhand smoke, increased maintenance costs and the fire danger are simply too great to ignore. The definition of "smoke" is anything that emits smoke or visible vapor including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, e-cigarettes or vape, any lighted plants, chemicals and other smoke producing or vapor products. This, of course will exclude grilling as we have several around the property for your use. Non-smoking signs will be posted throughout the property and smoking area signs will be posted around the property and where designated for smoking only.
The smoking fee will now be $250, if caught or found. This all will be on all folios signed upon check in.
So, if you are a smoker, what does this mean to you? Whether you smoke outside or on your porch / balcony in front of your room/cottage, you will no longer be able to do so. You will have to proceed to the smoking areas that will be indicated or ask the front desk and they will show you the way. We'll try our best to accommodate you.
